Brannon Poe, CPA, founded Poe Group Advisors to help CPAs and accounting practice owners. He began facilitating accounting practice transitions in 2003. He pioneered the consulting-based transition approach that developed into The Seamless Succession™. He shares accounting perspectives through national and regional conferences, blogging, and hosting The Accounant’s Flight Plan Podcast. He authored “Accountant’s Flight Plan: Best Practices for Today’s Firms,” which AICPA and CPA Canada published. He started his public accounting career as an auditor with Ernst & Young. He then spent several years in auditing and tax preparation at Elliott, Davis & Company. He subsequently became a shareholder in a privately held, family-owned business. He also became a founding shareholder in a start-up manufacturing company. He wrote “How to Prepare your CPA Firm for Sale” and other books.
