Jim Marshall advises buyers and sellers at Business Team on business acquisitions and sales. He draws on experience in company formation, turnarounds, and high-technology product development and manufacturing. He spent more than 36 years in the microelectronics and semiconductor equipment industry. He acquired and operated a durable medical equipment business, then sold it in 2012. He joined Business Team’s Pleasant Hill office in January 2013. At Stanford University he completed Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Mechanical Engineering, with Honors. He began his career at Hewlett-Packard Company in Palo Alto, CA. Since 1988, he has held Chief Operating Officer, President, CEO, and Chairman roles. He co-founded MESA, helped PMAT through an IPO, and led turnarounds at three companies, including ASET and Matrix. He joined XiO, Inc.’s board as an independent Director in May 2024.
