About
Michael A. Wildeveld advises on exits, valuations, acquisitions, and business sales at The Veld Group. He started a consulting practice in 2002 with friends he had known since age 14. He launched The Veld Group's brokerage in 2004 to serve owners facing challenges in a sale. He pursues business launches and acquisitions across food manufacturing, printing, health and beauty, hospitality, and financial services. He serves as an expert witness and holds M&AMI, CM&AP, CM&AA, CBI, CBB, and CEPA credentials. He earned an economics B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. At 18, he started Value-Line Maintenance and grew it to 35 employees within a year. He later worked for American Airlines, ARCO/BP, Virgin Entertainment, G.E. Capital Aviation, and Universal Pictures. He completed projects in 19 countries for clients including Queen Noor and the governments of Jordan and El Salvador. He wrote Exit On Your Terms for a planned 2023 release and has visited 7 continents and 150 countries.
