He worked in consumer products at Procter and Gamble, healthcare services at Boston Scientific Corporation, and technology consulting. He earned a Bachelors of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. He majored in Finance and Marketing. He later earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He received recognition from the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for Business.
