Tom Boyd serves as a Business Broker at ROI Business Brokers. He specializes in transportation and distribution companies. He also works with manufacturing and service business owners. He builds long-term relationships with owners and shares his experience planning an exit. He sold his own trucking company through ROI Business Brokers before becoming a broker. Boyd opened The Bridge House Restaurant at 17 during his senior year and sold it to his chef. He followed his father into the U.S. Coast Guard and completed a second tour of duty. During his service, he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Management at the College University of New York. After his second tour, he returned to Maine and started East Branch Delivery Services, Inc. As president, he led it for 30 years, reaching approximately seven million in gross sales and a staff of more than 60.
