He co-chairs Paul Hastings LLP's Private Equity practice in Boston. He represents entrepreneurs and management teams on rollover transactions and new ventures. He holds a J.D. from Washington University School of Law and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. His clients include software, healthcare, and real estate companies, and for a number of privately held businesses he serves as primary general counsel, which keeps him close to the companies his sponsors and searchers acquire and later sell.
