About
Lesley Attkisson Lewis advises private companies, public companies, private equity groups, and family-owned businesses on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and private equity investments. She structures and negotiates those transactions and works through the unexpected issues that come up so a deal closes on time. She also counsels founders and management teams on forming and governing privately held entities and on their commercial contracts. Her clients include manufacturers, software and packaging companies, and businesses in transportation and logistics, life sciences, and energy. Lesley earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2009 and her B.S. at Davidson College in 2006. Several clients rely on her as outside general counsel for day-to-day matters, the same founders and management teams she represents when they buy or sell a business.
