He also founded Diversified Med Services in 1993, supplying medical equipment and supplies to home health and skilled nursing. He served as Diversified's CEO until Lincare acquired it in 2003. In 1996, he purchased Home Health First's assets following the On Call sale. He renamed the entirely private-pay home care business On Call Plus. He operated On Call Plus for nine years before selling it to Educare in 2005. He has shared 37 years of marriage with Kim; they have two adult children and three grandchildren.
