About
Michael Tobian joined Alpine Business Brokers in 2008, bringing entrepreneurship, business ownership, and consultation experience. He owns Skylark Productions, an Audio/Visual and production company. He also owns Utah Live Bands, a national entertainment booking agency, and Empire Casino Parties. His businesses produce 700-1000 events annually worldwide and have won 49 Utah Best in State Awards. In 2021, Utah Business Magazine recognized him among its “40 Under 40 Utah business leaders”. His previous ventures include SlapLaughter, a social media content business with 2 million Facebook followers, and a costume supplier. He holds a real estate license and the International Business Brokers Association’s CBI designation, alongside its national sales awards. He serves as WIPA president and holds a Utah Cultural Alliance board seat. He regularly lectures about entrepreneurship at universities and has taught at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University. He plays saxophone, piano, drums, and bass guitar professionally and authored “Fundamentals of Jazz Improvisation”.
